One of the greatest swimmers of Pacific heritage many people have no knowledge of, Robin Leamy (born April 1, 1961) represented the United States in swimming where he won a gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles competing with the US team in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay. He held the World Record in the 50 Meter Freestyle from 1981 through 1985, when it was not an Olympic event. Robin was born in Samoa but raised in the US.
